Bathroom Cleaning

You can’t have a house without a bathroom. You can have a house with two bedrooms or a house with no bedroom at all or a house with one bedroom and an attic, but not one without a bathroom. It’s absurd. Second to the gut-wrenching dilemma of dealing with the lack of a bathroom is dealing with a cluttered bathroom. No one should ever have to use a bathroom that hasn’t been cleaned for the last five years.

Bathroom Cleaning Tips

The first steps towards cleanliness is organization. What to throw away, what to leave behind? Here are some tips on how to organize a bathroom:

  • Begin with the medicine cabinet. Open it and take a good look inside. Throw away everything past its expiration date: medicine bottles, tablets, topical ointments. Also throw away the products you seldom use. They’re not doing you any good except taking up valuable storage space.
  • Half-used bottles of shampoo plus other hair care products that you never use must go. These also take up too much space. You never use them anyway. So why keep them?
  • Throw away any old mascara products. Mascara tends to dry up after three months of exposure to room air, when it becomes unsafe to use. Never use a mascara past its grace period. Another thing: never share mascara.
  • Eye and lip pencils last about three to five years. If they become crumbly or hard to apply, throw them away.
  • It goes without saying that lip gloss and lipstick should never be shared. These items last around two to three years.

No Mess With Less

With these tips, you should be able to get your bathroom done in no time at all. No mess with less!
