All the Cars in the World

All the cars in the world deserve regular tune-ups and a bath every once in a while. You can go for the expensive car wash drive through, or you can opt to do the washing yourself. Since it’s your car after all, why not take the time to wash it?

Here are some basic tips for washing a car:

  • Park your car in a shady spot, but not under a tree where leaves or sap might drip on the car after or while you’re doing the washing. Only do the washing outside when it’s sunny or when you’re certain it isn’t going to rain anytime soon.
  • Use a hose to wash off dirt from the car. Begin by spraying the roof with water and then slowly work your way down the sides.
  • Use a terry cloth or sponge to lather the car with car soap and water. Again, begin with the roof and slowly make your way down to the tires.
  • Afterwards, rinse the car with water from the hose. Repeat this step several times until you’re sure all traces of soap have been washed off.
  • Use a towel or chamois to dry the car. Apply shine or polish as desired.

The Internet is a Store

Most people feel special affection for their cars, but sadly few people want to spend the time to wash their cars when they need cleaning. You should put in the effort to get your car washed and cleaned at least twice a month. Regularly washed cars look newer, the interiors smell better and they perform better, too. The Internet has become a store for all your car washing needs—from brushes to shampoos to waxes to glazes to conditioners. Take it from us: clean your car or suffer the consequences of driving a mobile junkyard in 2 to 3 years time.
