Cleaning Soap Scum from Your Bathroom
A shower or a bathtub is supposed to keep you fresh and clean, but you definitely can’t be clean in a place filled with soap scum. It’s hard to take a bath in a scummy shower or bathtub, but some people don’t often have the choice but to deal with the nasty stains. Thankfully, there’s an easy way to remove soap scum on your shower doors, tile floors, and bathtubs.
Soap scum is made out of particles of the impurities of bath soap that don’t lather. These impurities combine with body oils and impurities in bath water. The nasty thing about soap scum is that it builds up very quickly, and you would be surprised one day to see your bathroom filled with the stuff.
All you need to remove soap scum is a kettle of hot boiling water and a kitchen sponge. Very carefully pour the boiling water on the soap scum stains, and scrub the soap scum away. You may also want to try bathroom cleaning products from the supermarket, although you may want to throw open the windows to keep the toxic fumes out.
