You don’t always have to use eco-harmful products to keep your bathroom clean. It’s so easy to just pick one up at the grocery or supermarket—trust me, I know the feeling—but think about what you’re doing to the environment.

Here are some ideas for a green clean bathroom:

• Sprinkle some borax over the toilet, then follow up with vinegar, and scrub. This should take care of most toilet stains. (More tips on how to get rid of toilet stains)
• Rust stains and hard water is taken care of 1 teaspoon of salt mixed with half a cup of white vinegar (see how to get rid of hard water stains). Then scrub vigorously. It should come off.
